About Grand Slam Adoption Event
Hosted by supermodel and actress Kate Upton and Detroit Tigers Pitcher Justin Verlander, the Grand Slam Adoption event was a fundraising and adoption event in late March 2016, with all proceeds going toward SPCA Florida and K9s for Warriors. With both groups on-site alongside Kate and Justin, the adoption event was full of not just information on how to make a new furry friend and contribute to a great cause, but also full of loving dogs ready to find their “furrever home.” Both family- and kid-friendly activities took place, including mascot appearances, a bounce house, caricature drawings, bean bag toss, a TopGolf chipping challenge, and even princess appearances. The passion and care for animals was clear when Kate planned and orchestrated the event, and the day was filled with cuddles, laughter, and fun.
Our Marketing Strategy For Grand Slam Adoption Event
We were honored when Kate Upton approached us about this event, and didn’t hesitate to help her make her dream a reality. It was clear that a web design that would capture the attention of the supermodel’s millions of social media followers was the best way to promote the event, and Black Tie wasted no time creating a beautiful logo and clean, informative website for Kate and Justin to help raise awareness for dog adoption through the SPCA of Florida. As a result of our hard work and efforts, many dogs were adopted and exposed to the public, and we have been named the official agency of record for Kate Upton’s Grand Slam Adoption Event.
"Thank you SO much to Black Tie Digital Marketing for helping us by building an awesome website and spreading awareness for our organization everywhere. You've done an amazing job, and I've really enjoyed working with you!"
