The Black Tie Digital Marketing team is built around creativity. We’ve found that given the right technical skill set and the opportunity to think freely, creativity flourishes and we can produce amazing collaborative projects. You’ll see that kind of creativity on display as you vote for your favorite Doodle for Google contest finalists. Voting is open through Friday May 9th, so be sure to take a peek and cast your ballots soon! Click here to vote.
The contest was open to students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade. Ten finalists were chosen for each of five age categories, giving you the opportunity to view 50 different “doodles” of Google logos based on this year’s theme, “If I Could Invent One Thing to Make the World a Better Place….” The doodles are accompanied by brief explanations of inventions from dream-sharing technologies to solar-powered Earth-preserving robots. The children whose doodles made the voting stage have won “a trip to the Google Headquarters in California for the final awards ceremony on May 21st, 2014, an Android tablet, and a t-shirt printed with his or her doodle on it.” One winner from each grade level will also win a $5,000 scholarship and the grand prize winner will receive a $30,000 scholarship and their artwork featured on the Google homepage.
As your Melbourne FL digital marketing agency, we’re always inspired when we see creativity at work. We can’t wait to see what these young artists create in industry in a few short years!
